I'm home from hospital

I love being home

Just love it

The ra is still there, painful joints but I'm feeling so well if fatigued, I can even walk about, double the amount of steps (12) with my frame and a few staggers without a frame furniture grabbing

I know the last week of pulses is short term my blood sugars are all over as is my heart rate but oh it's wonderful to be able to 'live' with ra

In my imagination I imagine this is what controlled ra must be like all the time

Wow
Praying it works for ages and ages....

As Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, 'There's no place like home'. I agree with that. I love my home and if I have to have RA then at least I have a lovely home to have it in. Others are not so lucky I know.
Reading how you really appreciate being able to walk 12 steps makes me realise how well off I am. It has reminded me to be glad of everything that I can do rather than focusing on the things that I can't. I feel a bit guilty for moaning about not being able to walk as far as I used to when at least I can get down to the shops, albeit with the aid of a stick and with my knee giving way occasionally.
Thank you Jenni for being an inspiration X

Hi Jenny,

I haven't been on the forum for so long and am VERY out of touch with everything. I read your post and thought 'some things never change' :) Glad to know that you are still challenging the medics and giving life a good old kicking with those red boots. On yah gal!

Love Ann x
